Hawaii 1996

Hawaii - November, 1996

In late fall, 1996, I flew to Hawaii to visit my father and his wife. As I write this, that was almost 8 years ago. And I am just now getting around to putting those pictures on my website. Not very timely of me.

The pictures I have chosen to display here come from a couple of main areas of my trip, and then a few miscellaneous ones. I stayed on Oahu, which is where a lot of people normally stay. This is where the airport is and has the largest population. A lot of the touristy things to do are located here as well, such as the North Shore, Diamond Head, the Arizona Memorial, Hanama Bay, and the Polynesian Cultural Center. I have included pictures from all but Diamond Head - didn't like any of those. On my trip, I also went to the "big" island of Hawaii to visit the Volcano National Park. There are some pictures from that trip as well.
