Mt. Desert Island

I am going to call Maine "Land of 1000 Lighthouses". There are lighthouses everywhere and, in fact, the picture on their state quarter is of, you guessed it, a lighthouse. This lighthouse is located on the south side of the island, and you cannot visit it. From the shining sun, I assume I took this picture on Sunday.

Sunny - Sunday! A rocky beach located on Mt. Desert Island. I can't remember if it is part of Acadia National Park or not (I think not as I signed a guest book, I believe). I ate lunch here.

Ascoutu
Ascoutu? Gardens, located in Northeast Harbor. The town is located facing south in the middle of the island, and is where I boarded the boat for my very cold boat trip on that cold and gloomy Saturday.
