Bridal Veil Falls

Another one of those sites in the Valley which is hard to miss.

I managed to take almost identical pictures about 1 and 1/2 years apart.

Bridal Veil Falls was one of the few Falls that actually had water falling at the beginning of fall, 2008. Not much, as you can see by the picture but at least it lived up to its name. The waters of Bridal Veil kept getting blown sideways by the wind so that it ended up looking like a piece of lace dancing around in the breeze.

In the winter, 2010, plenty of water flowed over the Falls. Some of the water collected on the surrounding rock and froze, giving the effect the Falls had snow there.
